We believe that conventional methods of growing food are harmful to the environment, inhumane in its methods of production, and unhealthy to the individual. The resulting ingredients often disappoint on the dinner table, too.
We believe that relying on small family farms for food grown organically yields the best of all worlds: the healthiest, best-tasting food that is also best for the environment. Good for the livestock, too - our chicken, beef, and pork is raised on pasture.
Portable Chef is dedicated to finding the best meat, fish, and produce available, and is proud to buy its ingredients from some of the best farms in the region, including:
